This web site is designed to help the plan participants and the consultation process. At this stage, nothing on the site has been adopted as part of the plan itself.

The next full meeting is at 7:15 on December 4th at the Larruperz. The agenda will be published here a few days prior.

The Town Plan will be a living document that identifies the issues that affect the local community based on a wide-ranging consultation exercise. It will set realistic objectives, establish means of providing improvements to the town and see them carried through. We are interested to hear from as many people as possible. The time scale for this exercise is quite short and we would like your responses as soon as possible and have set a deadline of mid January 2008. Please send your replies to issues@ross-on-wye.org or you can comment on Facebook.

You may have concerns about housing and planning, transport, services (health and social care), sports facilities, the environment, local government, the arts or the economic development of Ross. Please feel free to tell us about anything that concerns you about life in the Town.

RoWToP recognises the existing policy framework and aims to build upon previous initiatives, such as the COMDEV report. Community planning of this type is formally recognised by central and local government so the process will have teeth.

We published a Report setting out your concerns and what the options are to address them in late spring 2008. We will consult widely on this Report before finalising the Plan by early 2009.

You will be able to keep up to date with the progress that the Town Plan steering group is making by looking in the local press and visiting this website or you can get involved. email us for more information.
